Terms of Service

1. What Prowler does

Prowler monitors public sources you nominate — social accounts, publications and websites — collects their recent public posts, and organises them into a ranked, categorised feed. It uses third-party scraping infrastructure and AI models to clean, summarise and classify that content.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 and provide accurate registration details.
• You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. If you use Google, your use of Google is also governed by Google’s own terms, and you are responsible for keeping that Google account secure.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• One person or organisation per account. Do not share logins to circumvent plan limits.
• Tell us promptly at info@hypebox.agency if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Credits, plans and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits, which resets at the start of every billing period and does not roll over.
• Credits are consumed when a scan or search completes successfully. Failed scans are not charged. Different platforms cost different amounts, shown in the app before you commit.
• Purchased top-up credits do not expire and are spent only after your plan allowance is exhausted.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then.
• Credits have no cash value, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• Charges appear on your card statement as HYPEBOX, the company behind Prowler.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If the Service is materially unavailable for a prolonged period, contact info@hypebox.agency and we will consider a pro-rata credit at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or build profiles of private individuals.
• Monitor sources you are legally prohibited from accessing.
• Resell, redistribute or republish collected content in breach of the source’s rights.
• Attempt to bypass credit metering, plan limits, rate limits or authentication.
• Probe, scan or overload our infrastructure, or use automated means to create accounts.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful.

6. Content and third parties

Prowler collects publicly available material; we do not own it and grant you no rights in it. Rights remain with the original publishers, and your use of what you collect is your responsibility — including compliance with each platform’s own terms and with copyright law. The Service depends on third parties (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Apify, Anthropic, Stripe and, for sign-in, Google) whose availability we do not control.

7. Your data

How we collect, use, keep and delete personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but offer no uptime guarantee on any plan. Scraping depends on external platforms that change and sometimes block access; a source failing to return content is not a defect in the Service.

9. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. You may close your account at any time by emailing info@hypebox.agency. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Lebanon have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
